Who masterminded the Bolshevik takeover of power in Russia in 1917 and was the architect and first head of the Soviet state?

Joseph Stalin took power of Russia because he wanted to make it into an industrial hotspot. He took complete control over the people's lives and pushed half the countries' population into famine. He created a communism (Stalinism) country
