Divide numerator and denominator by GCF.
GCF = 7
21 ÷ 7 = 3
49 ÷ 7 = 7
3/7
21/49 in lowest terms is 3/7.

1) To make a fraction in lowest terms you have to divide by the greatest common factor.
The GCF of 21 and 49 is 7
2) Simplify Fraction
Divide the numerator and denominator by 7
21 ÷ 7 = 3
49 ÷ 7 = 7
21/49 in lowest terms is 3/7
