You have to use exponents before you have to use the paratheses.

8 + 3(7² × 4) - 5 ÷ 2
8 + 3(49 + 4) - 5 ÷ 2
8 + 3(53) - 5 ÷ 2
8 + 159 - 5 ÷ 2
167 + 5 ÷ 2
162 ÷ 2
81
