The event that was started by the actions of Miss Rosa Parks was the Montgomery Bus Boycott and it lasted from December 1st 1955 all the way until December 20th 1956 . I hope this helped:)

Because of Rosa Park's defiant against giving up her seat to a white man she started the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
