Actually Hudson didn't claim the New York Harbor and the Hudson River for England. He claimed them for Dutch. So to answer you question this is False.

Hudson claimed New York Harbor and Harbor and the Hudson River for England. This is true.
In Hudson's 3 voyage he conquered New York for England
Hudson River was named after Hudson. He conquered it for England also.
