What ancient renewable resources can be used to create energy?

Technically, this is a trick question.

Matter or energy cannot be created nor destroyed!!!

But anyways. To help you answer your question, we can narrow down the options.

Coal and Oil are not renewable resources, so those aren't the answer.
Natural Gas isn't renewable, so that's not it either.

Now here's the dilemma: Wood, soil, and rain. OR Water, tides, and wind.

It's a dilemma because Wood, soil, and rain are used to make food, which the ancient people could eat to give themselves energy.

And Water, tides, and the wind could be used to operate different tasks such as: windmills to grind wheat into flour, water mills to blow air into a blacksmith's forge.

So take whatever help you can from it :)

I would also ask your teacher to maybe reword the question as well.
