If a diploid cell with 8 chromosomes goes through in meiosis how many chromosomes will the resulting haploid cells have

The 2 daughter cells that result from meiosis are haploid (n) rather than diploid (2n). Therefore, the resulting diploid cells will have 4 chromosomes.
