Yolanda made 2 quarts of chili. She put an equal amount of 2 quarts into 9 containers to freeze. How much did Yolanda put into each container?

quarts per container .....quarts / container.....2/9 = 0.22 qts per container

or

1 qt = 32 oz.......so 2 qts would be (2 * 32) = 64 oz
64/9 = 7.11 oz

both answers are correct....it just depends on if u want the answer in quarts or ounces...and both those answers are rounded because both happen to be repeating decimals
