Hey there!

(f-g)(x) would be the same as
f(x)-g(x)

We know the following information:

f(x)=-4x^2-6x-1

g(x)=-x^2-5x+3

Now, let's calculate for
(f-g)(x)

(f-g)(x)

=
f(x)-g(x)

=
(-4x^2-6x-1)-(-x^2-5x+3)

=
-3x^2-x-4

Your answer is the last choice, or option D.

Have an awesome day! :)
