If 6x=33 then divide both sides by 6 to isolate x, which gives that x=5.5
For:

(2)/(3) * (8)/(5)
Multiply the numerator and denominator individually (2×8=16, 3×5=15) to give you 16/15, which is 1 1/15 as a mixed fraction. This is because there is 1 lot of 15/15 and 1/15 left over in the fraction
