A farmer is packing grapefruit into boxes. He pack the same of grapefruit into each box. He has packed a total of 264 grapefruit into 22 boxes. He still has 180 grapefruits that must be packed. If he continues to pack the same number of grapefruits into each box. How many more boxes will the farmer pack?

So we first need to find out how many grapefruits go in each box. To do that I will divide.

264 ÷ 22 = 12

12 grapefruits per box.

180 ÷ 12 = 15

Check:

15 × 12 = 180

This proves us CORRECT!

So, the farmer will need to pack 15 more boxes of grapefruit with 12 grapefruits each.
