President Teddy (theodore) Roosevelt was most known for his social work across the country, and as well his attempts to create economic change. He was a champion of the people, rather than a representative of government interests. His most famous policy was the Square Deal, which attempted to create peace between disgruntled workers and America's need for a constantly moving and producing industry.
