The strong fibers that join skeletal muscles to other parts of the body are tendons. Tendons are flexible, but inelastic. They consist of strong fibrous collagen tissue. They attached the muscles to the bones, which thus connect them to the rest o the body. Some examples of tends are the hamstring and quadruped in the legs.
