James Watt's steam engine was developed directly during the industrial revolution to improve mining life and eventually lead to the rest of revolution in the form of transportation, improved manufacturing and mechanization of lifts and devices to make all workers lives easier and safer.

James watt's steam engine design was an improvement from the one that created by Newcomen in 1712.
Due to Watt's deisgn, the machine could almost doubled in productivity and it started to be developed for other industries beside minings
