Simplify (10a^3b)(2a^b)

The answer is 20a^4b

Distribute (when multiplying exponents, you just add them together when they have the same base in this case the base is ‘a’):

10 * 2 = 20

a^3b + b = a^4b

Answer: 20a^4b
