find the number of acts not booked = 21 - 10 = 11

multiply by the profit for each act 11 * 175000 = $1,925,000 shortfall

Answer:

The shortfall was of $19,25,000.

Explanation:

Originally 21 acts were tentatively to perform at the arena.

Only 10 have been booked.

Means
21-10=11 acts were not booked.

Lets say the average profit margin of each concert is = $175000

So, 11 acts would have earned a profit of =
11*175000=1925000 dollars

So, the shortfall was of $19,25,000.
