It is thought that the Olmecs from Central Mexico originally came from elsewhere due to their connection to Africa.
This is shown through:
1. Many researchers have found that old Olmec scripture can be related to African scripts.
2. Skeletons were discovered that had the composition of skeletons from Africa that were discovered to be from approximately the same time period.
