To solve:
Add the amounts of sugar together:

(21)/(5) +(7)/(2)=(42)/(10)+(35)/(10)=(77)/(10)= 7.7

Then multiply by 2.2 to convert to kg:
7.7•2.2=
16.94

Answer: 16.94 pounds
