A(X)=charge offered by jeweler A
x=number of hours.

A(x)=14x+150

B(x)=charge offered by jeweler B.
x=number of hours.

B(x)=12x+166

When the tow jewelers charge the same amount of money A(x) will be equal to B(x);
A(x)=B(x)

Therefore, we equalize both equations and solve them.

14x+150=12x+166
14x-12x=166-150
2x=16
x=16/2
x=8

Answer:jewelers´charge would be the same when they work 8 hours .
