Answer with explanation:

Number of Apples Possessed by Davis = 10

Number of Apple ate by Gus

=(1)/(5)* 10\\\\=2

Number of Apple bought by Davis next day

=Twice the Amount ate by Gus

= 2 × 2

=4

So, total number of Apples left with David

=10 -( Number of Apple ate by Gus)+( Number of Apple Bought by Davis next day )

=10 - 2 +4

=8+4

= 12 Apples
