What is mining? Mining is the extraction (removal) of minerals and metals from earth. Manganese, tantalum, cassiterite, copper, tin, nickel, bauxite (aluminum ore), iron ore, gold, silver, and diamonds are just some examples of what is mined.

mining is where ppl go down in caves/ different ares to extract metal or valuable ores, it involves them using pickaxes or modern technology to get the ores out. its dangerous to the lungs because dust and/or rocks can harm your breathing habits/ how well you breathe/ if you can breathe well or not.
