Answer: 15 miles

Step-by-step explanation: No Mark cannot run 14 miles in 120 minutes he will run 15 miles in 120 minutes to find out how i got my answer was to first divide 40 and 5 to find out how many minutes per mile Mark can run for, I divided 40 and 5 and got the quotient of 8, Now I will divide 120 and 8 to find out the total amount of miles mark can run for in 120 minutes, The quotient I got for dividing 120 and 8 is 15 therefore Mark can run 15 miles in 120 minutes.

40/5 = 8 minutes per mile

120 minutes / 8 minutes per mile = 15 miles total

he will be able to run 15 miles in 120 minutes
