The most diverse and most productive biomes are the tropical rainforests. These rainforests receive very high rainfall, and have high average temperature. The biodiversity in these biomes is very high. High amount of foliage and animal species are present in tropical rainforests. Although the soil of these biomes are not nutrient rich as the continuous rainfall do not let he nutrient stay for long. These tropical rainforests are located in the regions near the equator in Latin America, Brazil, Pacific islands, and South East Asia.
