D=1.4 m

Volume= 770 litres of water

V= pi × r^2 × h

770=1.53 × h

h= 503

Explanation:

Diameter d= 1.4m

Radius r= 1.4/2 =0.7m

volume of cylinder = 770/1000 = 0.77 m³

that is,

πr²h = 0.77

3.14*0.7²*h=0.77

3.14*0.49h = 0.77

1.54h=0.77

h=0.77/1.54

h =0.5

Hence height of the cylinder is 0.5 m
