the length of a diagonal of a rectangle is like the longest side c of a right triangle.

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

a and b of the right triangle are the legs, so in this case a=24 And b=10

(24)^2 + (10)^2 = c^2
576 + 100 = c^2
676 = c^2
26 cm = c
