Since they gave you a proportional table you would do 14.4 miles divided by 3 seconds in order to get 4.8 miles per second

Divide the miles and time to find the speed.
14.4/3 = 4.8
28.8/6 = 4.8
43.2/9 = 4.8
57.6/12 = 4.8
All the answers are the same, so therefore the speed is 4.8 mph.
