On the coordinate plane, ΔABC ≅ ΔDEF by SSS. ΔABC translates 2 units to the left and 3 units down. Do the triangles remain congruent? Explain why or why not.

True, the triangle remains congruent.

Shifting or translation is just moving the graph. The transformation will not change the size of the shape. The transformation that can alter the size of the triangle (thus might cause it to stop become congruent) is dilation or stretch. In dilation, the triangle might become larger.
