PLEASE HELP ME

So I picked my hermit crab up, and it came out of it's shell. I think it's dead. The other one is still alive. Do I leave the dead one in there? What do I do?

Bury or trash your DEAD hermit crab, and clean out the tank, and after its cleaned put the ALIVE hermit crab in

You should probably check it before you do something to it. But I’m not sure.
