The system
is : (i) x^{2} +y
^{2} =
6
and (ii) x^{2} -
y=6
rewrite
equation
(ii) as x^{2}=
y+6
and substitute x^{2} in
equation
(i) with
y+6
so
equation
(i) becomes (
y+6)+y
^{2} =
6 y
^{2} +
y
=0 factorize to find the roots
