I'm going to go with option B. (The Greeks loved their gods)

Hate is a synonym for Despise and from the passage it doesn't seem like they hated the gods.

The gods were predictable is an alternative, however, we don't have supporting details that they were always right.

And lastly, we know they didn't fear their gods because it states that they believed the gods.

Answer:

D) The Greeks feared the power of their gods.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the passage we can infer that the Greeks feared the power of their gods because it mentions that they believed that the powers of the gods explained the natural events like thunderstorms and that these events occurred when a god was angry or upset for something and to avoid these situations, they performed rituals in their honor or gratitude, which indicates that they feared the powers the gods had.
