When people with disabilities get an adapted driver's license, they become better able to independently function and contribute to society. This feeling facilitates successful self-actualization. An adapted drivers license will also alert government officials, whenever necessary, of any special precautions necessary when aiding these drivers in tasks related to their disability, and in providing proper accommodations as such.
