Some of the work involved in being an innkeeper includes booking rooms to guests, greeting guests that arrive at the inn, and supervising other workers who work at the inn such as maids, cooks, and maintenance people. In the case of very small inns, the innkeeper might be responsible for all the jobs that need to be done. Other duties may include answering the phone, replying to emails, keeping the books, and maintaining a website.
