Simple sentence _ I water the flowering plants. Compound sentence_ I cook lunch for my kids and pack them to school. Complex sentence- I get ready to go shopping which is my hobby.

Morning routine:

• I wake up at 7 am. This is an example of a simple sentence as it only has one clause in it.
• I don't care what I have for breakfast. This is an example of a complex sentence as it has one main clause and a subordinate clause which acts as the object of the verb don't care".
• I watch the news on the tv but I shouldn't because I am late. This is an example of a compound sentence as it has two coordinate clauses that are connected by the conjunction "but".
