The evolutionary perspective is a psychological perspective that states compulsive acts exaggerate behaviors that allowed humans to survive. This, simply states, means that our actions adapt over time to continue the species moving forward and surviving. Our behaviors change as our surroundings change, and our mental strengths alter to adhere to our current mental climate.
