False, you do not need to drink 16 oz of Gatorade every 15 minutes of aerobic exercise in order to achieve benefits.

False. Water is the best and the only hydrating property that should be consumed prior to any exercise. Gatorade is good to take while doing exercise or after to give you a boost of energy but should never be consumed excessively. These drinks can increase your heart rate and in my opinion are no substitute for water.
