Think of an animal that eats other animals. Why would soil be important to this animal

Answer:

The soil would be important because the animal eats plants from the soil which helps it to live and grow and then the other animal eats that animal gaining energy from it to survive.

Plants grow in the soil, which feeds smaller animals or insects, which then feeds larger animals that eat the smaller animals
