The options to choose from are:

refuse to talk about death and grief

cover up grief by showing false cheer

pretend that everything is fine

visit a dying person often

I honestly can't see how any of these options is a healthy strategy for coping with death and dying, however if I had to choose the last option would be the only one that might help. The other options are definitely very unhealthy coping strategies and would not be recommended at all. Visiting a dying person often would allow you to come to terms with accepting that someone you care about is dying and in some ways will prepare you for the inevitable. It can prepare you mentally, however it can be a highly distressing experience.
