The length of one leg of a right triangle is 66 ft. the length of the hypotenuse is 22 feet longer than the other leg. find the length of the hypotenuse and the other leg.

Let the other leg be x
one leg = 66ft
length of hypotenuse x + 22
x^2 + 66 ^ 2 = (x + 22) ^ 2
x ^ 2 + 4356 =x^2 + 44 x + 484
44 x = 4356 - 484X = 4356-484/ 44X = 3872 / 44X = 88The hypotenuse = 88 + 22Hypotenuse = 110
So the sides are: 66, 88, and 110 ft.
