Just one more question lol. A clothing store ran advertisements for a special sale. The stores ads read “Buy one at regular price, get a second one for half price.” Explain how the terms of the clothing stores sales are different from offering a 50% discount. Use $100 as the regular price for the item to write your explanation.

When you are getting a 50% discount, you don't have to buy another item. 100$ when applied the half discount, would be 50$. But, in order to get the half price option, you have to spend 100$ and then another 50$. That's a total of 150$. I would probably go for the 50% discount.

"Using these two terms are different in really one way, saying buy one get one half off is saying pay for one get another half that price, saying 50% discount means that you pay half of the original price but you still pay the taxes with it and with the 1st choice you wouldn't have to pay that additional taxes."
