l(1,4)(2,2)

first find slope. (4-2)/(1-2)=-2

write in point slope for y-y1=m(x-x1)
y+2 =-2(x-4)

now solve for y
y = -2x+6

slope = (4-2)/(1-2) = -2

y-4 = -2(x - 1)
y - 4 = -2x + 2

y = -2x + 6 Answer
