Hello dear friend,

The last statement is correct.
Photosynthesis takes energy from sunlight and converts it into a usable form of energy and stores it in 6-Carbon sugars (carbohydrates).
Cellular Respiration takes those sugars (carbohydrates) and breaks them down to release the energy for use by the cell.
