Solve 5x/(x)squared+5x+6 - 2x+8/(x)squared+6x+8 =? pls list out the steps

Unfortunately, you cannot get any where past (5x^2 + 18) / 6x

If any of the steps look wrong, please let me know ASAP so that I can fix it...


The only thing that would work, is if you substituted 0 for x, you would get 18/0 which is impossible...

OR

If you were to substitute 1 for x, you would get:

= [ 5(1)^2 + 18 ] / 6(1)

= (5 + 18) / 6

= 23 / 6

~ 3.88883
