let number of coin in blue jar be b and number in the red be r then:-
b - r = 27
b + r = 193
Add these 2 equations:-
2b = 220
b = 220/2 = 110
and r = 193 - 110 = 83
answer is there are 110 coins in blue jar and 83 coins in red jar.
