Asexual reproduction maintains genetic contuniety because when asexual plants reproduce, the cells make an exact duplicate of themselves through mitosis and each cell contains the same amount of DNA as the original cell.

In simpler terms, all the DNA in the cells is always the same through asexual reproduction therefor genetic continuity is maintained.
