88+16x+8
Solve:
88+16x+8=
88+16(4)+8=
88+64+8=
160
Use distributive property
GCF=8
88/8=11
16/8=2
8/8=1
Equivalent expression:
8(11+2x+1)
Solve:
8(11+2x+1)=
8(11+2(4)+1)=
8(11+8+1)=
8(20)=
160
The solution to both expressions are the same when x=4

An equivalent expression could be:
27x + 52 Which equals 160 when x = 4 =)
