How is a compound different from the elements that make it up?

Hey there,

Question :How is a compound different from the elements that make it up?

Answer: A compound is made up of 2 different elements that are chemically combined. When elements are combined the atoms lose their individual property and thus the compounds have different properties of the element that makes it up.
