What is wrong with interpreting aristotle as having a theory of "the golden mean" / "doctrine of the middle?"?

There are multiple reasons for that for example the Golden Mean theory mismatches the famous Aristotle’s definition of virtue as well as it does not go along with the example that are presented by him. Also it was never said by the man that our in every instance our responses should be moderate. And finally Aristotle did not say that moderation can guide to virtue action.
