-2x-2y=-12
4x-7y=-15

Solve for x in the first equation
-2x=-12+2y
2x=12-2y
x=6-y
Plug x into the second equation
4(6-y)-7y=-15
24-4y-7y=-15
24-11y=-15
11y=39
y=3.54
Plug that into the eqaution for x
x=6-3.54
x=2.46
