Explain how energy limits the nimber of trophic levels in a food chain or web?

s As you move up the trophic levels, less energy is transferred from one organism to another (2nd law of thermodynamics). Eventually, you will reach zeroenergy. The first organism in the first trophic level and the amount of energy it provides limits the total number of trophic levels in an ecosystem.
