Angles ∝ and β are the two acute angles in a right triangle. Use the relationship between sine and cosine to find the value of ∝ if ∝ < β. sin(2x - 8) = cos(6x - 6) A) 13° B) 18° C) 72° D) 77°

Since ∝ < β you can throw out answers C and D. Using the relationship of sine and cosine being complementary angles you can plug in the two smallest values. Out of those two for 13° you get sin18°=cos72° and 13°+72°=90°, meaning these two angles are complementary.
